Today, woke up by someone's morning call. Still got who. Qing Hui lor, my YEC chairman. 7 plus 8 like that call me to wake me up and remind to go for later event. Today, we are help SMU people for the Community Service Project. It was their CIP project. We are supposed to meet at 9am at Blk 3 east coast rd there which was opp siglap centre. I meet Yanqi and go. We was supposed to go around the residential area to collect food stuff fhat he actuallyir the needy people at blk 1 -4. We were divided into two groups. I was assigned to cover east coast terrence n east coast drive. The response from the resident was quite good. We met one friendly uncle from unit no 17 east coast drive. He was so helpful that he actually drove out to cold storage and bought alot of canned food for the needy people. So kind of him. If everyone was to be like him, then those people wont be so ke lian le. He even help ask to call his neighbour to donate some canned food to us. Haha... So good. We were very tired and pain in our hands as we carried the stuff our own without any trolley. After collected the stuff, we gather back at the meeting point and went for a short break. Sian, it started to rain liao. But we still continue with our work. We pack the food into 40 paxs and distribute it out. It was quite fun and get to know alot of friends over there.
